In an effort to reach Northern New Mexican students and families not connected to the public schools Outdoor Academy hosts monthly youth fishing events that are free to all

At these Youth Fishing Days students are taught how to fish, cast fly rods and about the macroinvertebrates that live in our waters

These events have served as a great way to further build connections with our community and engage the next generation of outdoor people
